Our journey is made up of our experiences. These experiences, in whatever way we define them, provide us the ability to learn from them, to grow and to gain wisdom. The interconnection between our mind and body is profound and these experiences can be difficult to move through physically and emotionally, but when explored and navigated, they give us the opportunity to live as our best authentic self. As a psychologist, I hold our therapeutic relationship in the utmost of care, trust and respect. I honour this safe space and will work with you to tap into your strengths and gain the tools you need to live your life with complete self-awareness.
I am a Canadian and USA-trained counselling psychologist and have dedicated the last 20 years’ engaging with clients across all ages and cultures. I have served clients in Dubai for the past several years. I currently work mainly with adolescents ages 16+ years, adults and couples. I have an empathetic approach to my clients, which is based on confidentiality and trust.
I believe our body holds the story of our experiences. I am committed to using a holistic treatment perspective in order to address the underlying issues that contribute to a client's mental health difficulties, and to facilitate the empowerment of my clients. Each individual has unique strengths within them and requires a clinician who can weave a bespoke blend of psychological therapies to individually tailor a client’s therapeutic journey. The therapeutic journey is a collaborative process, and one in which the client works towards achieving their treatment and recovery goals. I am passionate about breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health and I work tirelessly to raise awareness of this topic by educating schools, professionals and organizations on ways to encourage and support mental wellbeing.
