Sandra Lazar , MSc Clin. Psych (Belgium)
Clinical Psychologist
I am a Clinical Psychologist from Belgium, originally from Romania, guided by the systemic approach. After finishing my Master’s degree at the University of Mons (Belgium), I trained for five years in “Family Therapy and Systemic Intervention” at the Centre for Family and Systems Studies in Brussels, Belgium.
I am extremely passionate about the complexity of human beings and relationships, and the beauty of “imperfections” that make us who we are. Not only do I believe that change is possible; I know that it is necessary and unavoidable, as we will never stop evolving. I consider myself privileged to be the witness of so many journeys, which always move me and inspire me in unique ways.
With a commitment to uphold unconditional and respectful listening and guidance for individuals, couples, families and groups, we will work together in a neutral space for interactions - free of any judgement or labels. I have experience working in private practice with adolescents and adults, as well as in a Mental Health Center for individuals, couples, families and groups. My previous work for an association involved helping foreign child victims of human trafficking, while in a another role I provided support for adolescents (and also their families), struggling with drug abuse issues and consequences. I have also worked with students offering a range of support, from dealing with university-related difficulties, to relationship concerns.
