Madalina Oana Filip , MSc (Romania)
Psychologist (DHCC branch)
I strongly believe that we heal in relationships, therefore I focus on building a strong therapeutic alliance, based on respect and trust. I value humor and authenticity and my approach is warm, supportive and non-judgmental.
Over the last decade, I have been working in private practice with individuals, couples and families from a diverse range of cultures and backgrounds, in different countries. I am a registered clinical psychologist and couple and family therapist and I’ve helped people with a wide range of problems, including depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, stress and burnout, relationship-related problems and addictions. In addition to my work with individuals, I help couples untangle their communication issues, conflicts and sexual difficulties.
As every individual is unique, I tailor my approach to every client specific needs, goals and motivation for therapy. I try to apply techniques that I feel are most beneficial for my clients, drawn from several forms of therapy including CBT, Systemic and Schema therapy.
