Dr. Samantha Adams , D.Clin.Psy (UK)
Clinical Psychologist
Whether it’s being caught in endless worries, struggling with painful memories, or going through a difficult transition, life’s challenges can lead you to feel anxious, low in mood, demotivated and impact your relationships, daily living and physical health. I am here to provide you with a safe, non-judgemental and supportive space in which to understand what’s been happening in your life and to identify how we can work together to navigate you towards feeling more hopeful and fulfilled.
Having dedicated more than a decade towards my educational attainments, psychological training and clinical experiences, I value being an effective clinician who builds strong therapeutic relationships that offers a secure base from which you can do what it takes to make a positive difference in your life. I prioritise being a warm, kind, and honest person who is committed to being with you during the painful times, celebrating the wins and reminding you of your ‘why’ if your motivation and hope waiver.
Through my years of working and training in the United Kingdom, I have worked both in the NHS and in private practice with people across the lifespan who are experiencing a range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, trauma, insomnia, long-term health conditions, psychosis and eating disorders. My current focus is working with Adults, 18 years and above. As a clinical psychologist with both a research doctorate (PhD) and clinical psychology doctorate (DClinPsy), I tailor research-informed evidence- based therapeutic techniques to work towards your goals.
