In partnership with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), we invite university students to join us for "Students' Mental Health Matters," a transformative training designed to empower university students with essential resilience-building skills for academic and personal success.

This is a 2-hour online workshop for university students, including Q&A and discussion.

This session will be facilitated in English.

ABOUT THIS ONLINE WORKSHOP:

By the time of entering university, 1 in 3 youth will meet the criteria for an anxiety disorder. “Students' Mental Health Matters” presents concrete information that describes university student behaviors that may indicate a mental health concern, while providing students with specific skills and strategies to support themselves when faced with mental health challenges

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

  • Increase awareness of mental health conditions, trends and themes for university students in the UAE.
  • Understand what good mental health is, and how to spot the signs of a mental health condition in university students.
  • Gain insight into the risk factors that put university students at risk for developing a mental health condition.
  • Understand the types of mental health challenges that impact university students.
  • Practical strategies to support university students with mental health concerns.
  • Accessing support resources and services for mental health.
