This is an in-person event for school counselors only, taking place at The LightHouse Arabia.
Join us for our first Evening of Learning and Networking for the new academic year. We look forward to taking counselors through a masterclass on the topic of Burnout: Treatment & Prevention.
Today, burnout can seem like an inevitable destination for many working professionals. However, the term ‘burnout’ is still often misunderstood and inaccurately applied, not to mention the potentially confusing messages about its causes, treatment, and prevention. In this masterclass, the latest knowledge about what burnout is, what drives it, and how to treat and prevent it is shared in a practical and immediately applicable form to help counselors and educators better cope with this significant challenge to professional and personal lives.
Counselors will walk away with:
- An understanding of what burnout is, and what it is not.
- Knowing the factors that collude and result in a person experiencing burnout.
- The best-practice protocol for treating diagnosed burnout.
- An action plan to safeguard themselves against burnout.
