Join us for an Evening of Learning and Networking on the topic of 'Supporting Families as they Cope with Change and Transitions'.
In the UAE, the only thing that remains the same is change. Whether it is changing schools or homes, transitioning to middle school or high school, saying goodbye to friends, dealing with divorce, or moving countries, children can have a very difficult time dealing with change if the loss is not dealt with.
Counselors will walk away with:
- Guidelines for supporting families dealing with the stress of life transitions.
- A framework and practical tips for helping families to navigate and cope with the difficulties of changing situations.
